A most frequently asked question I'm asked is: How can I get more people to my website?

Here's the thing. You don't just want anyone coming to your website. You want people who are interested in what you offer and are most likely to buy from you.

These are the people you want to put an effort into bringing to your website. In this article and video, I'll show you how to attract prospects to your website that actually want what you're offering


Post fresh content. You want to create content that is shareable. Typically this is in the form educational content where you talk about the problems your clients and customers are experiencing and the different solutions that are available. The key is to provide real value, not a commercial about your business.

You want to create lots of content. 40 or more articles for your blog post. Turn those same 40 articles into videos and then turn the video audio into podcasts.

Creating the video doesn't have to be hard. You can just stand in front of a camera and talk for 2 minutes or you can do a screen-cast or you can make a narrated PowerPoint.

I know this sounds like a lot

...but if you do this you'll have 120 pieces of content that can be used to bring prospects to your website. In step 2 I'll explain where to get the content.


Where to get all this content. This is the easy part. You use the top 40 most frequently asked questions from your existing clients/customers. If you've been in business for at least a couple of years you already know what questions your prospects already ask, and you already know the answers - so there is no research required, right?

You want to make a list of the top 40 FAQs and then answer them.

Now that you've got all this content what do you do with it? In step 3 I'll show you.


Build a Following. Share this content across social media platforms. One of the best ways for your prospects to find you is through social media. People sharing your content on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn will help you tap into other people networks and deliver more prospects to your website.

When someone watches your video, reads your article or listens to your audio that speaks about the problem they're experiencing, this will create the interest needed to attract them to your website to learn more about your business and how you can help them solve their problem.

If you implement just these 3 things, in 6 months you will see an increase in the number of potential prospects visiting your website.
